In the last decade network analysis techniques have become popular especially for the stock market. They consist in using time-series of prices, volumes and other financial indicators to build a network or a tree and thus observe, from another perspective, the relations among companies or countries or currencies. Network analysis is used also as an alternative way to build clusters for portfolio optimisation.
